Arts community making a difference

Art of the Danforth is now accepting submissions for Art Walk April 2010 - a public walk that will display art projects developed by community groups, and local and international artists.

The walk is planned for the last two weeks of April and will encompass Danforth Ave. between (minimum) Greenwood & Woodbine, and (maximum) Jones & Main. The deadline is January 5, 2010. Visit Art of the Danforth for more details.

The arts group is also hosting a workshop this Friday, Nov. 27, 6-8 p.m., to develop ideas on how to make our neighbourhood better with art, at LucSculpture Studio & Schools, 663 Greenwood Ave. If you're not able to attend in person, you could attend virtually on Nov. 26, 7:30-8:30 p.m. Visit Art of the Danforth for more details.
